Hi Everyone,
Today's task with the Summer Learning Journey Programme is Wise Words. Who is someone in your family that is a role model for you and shares one piece of wisdom (advice) with you that they think you and your blog readers should hear? Someone who I think is a role model is my nana. She is someone who I look up too, she shows all of the five R's which are Respect, Resourcefulness, Reciprocity, Resilience, and Reflectiveness, she also cares for a lot of people in my family and is kind and caring. I am really proud and thankful that she is my nana because she is someone who I really care about and love very much. My nana's word of wisdom to myself and others is "A Day Not Learning Is A Day Lost" Who is someone in your family you look up to and think they are a role model?
I was a pupil at Marshland School and this blog is where I shared my learning. This blog has been archived, no further content will be uploaded or added. You are welcome to continue viewing posts, however commenting has been disabled.

Kia Ora Bella,
ReplyDeleteYour nana sounds like an incredible kind and wise women. She’s definitely right, there is so much to learn in the world and we’re never too old to discover something new. What’s something you have learnt over the summer break so far?
I really like how you have explained what your nana is like and also how you have attached a Dr Seuss quote. Dr Seuss is one of my favourite authors because he’s so optimistic and creative. He writes the best books; I still think ‘The Sneetches’ is one of my all time favourites! What’s your favourite?
Perhaps you could add a picture of you and your nana to your post to enhance the reading experience. If you need help or inspiration to do this, look at these tips for making eye catching blog posts
