Hi Everyone,
Today with the Summer Learning Journey Programme is to share your favourite book take an image of it and write a short description/review about the book. My favourite book that I would like to share with you is called "A Dogs Way Home" The film starts with a small dog named (Bella) narrating about her current home life. The dog then runs out after hearing Lucas's voice and goes to him.
Lucas immediately falls in love with the dog, but he and Olivia are told to leave by Gunter, who owns the property. A Dog's Way Home is a beautifully told, charming tale that explores the unbreakable bond between us and our pets. This fantastic and exhilarating journey of the heart is in the same tradition as the beloved bestseller, A Dog's Purpose also is in the movie theatres.
What I like about the book is that it is a very hopeful book and all the things that happen, the dog or the owner they are looking out for each other at every minute in time. The book is also very heartbreaking as Bella starts her life in Denver as a stray pup who lives in an abandoned lot with her mother and littermates. After Bella's mom is caught by animal control, a mama cat nurses Bella and adopts her, so Lucas (The owner) tries looking for her calling people and searching for hours. What is your favourite book to read?

Kia Ora Bella,
ReplyDeleteI’ve never seen ‘A Dog’s Way Home’ but your review of it certainly makes me want to watch the movie and read the book! I like how you have described why you liked it with a lot of passion and feeling. It sounds like the movie starts off quite sad with Bella’s mum being taken away, but ends more hopeful as Bella is adopted and cared for. The best stories often have an emotional journey you have to go through with the main character and it definitely looks like Bella is all set in that department.
What’s your favourite part of the entire book?
My favourite book to read is “George’s Marvellous Medicine” by Roald Dahl. Its super funny and has a lot of great songs written in it that are actually ingredient lists for George’s concoctions! Have you read it?
Don’t forget to cite your sources for your image.
Happy blogging,
