For this task, you had to explain what you have learned in class about being cyber smart. Then you had to list five things that people should follow when sharing pictures or streaming videos online. The first thing I listed is about Netiquette (The Do's And Dont's Brainstorm) I recommend you read this because it can be really useful to use. I found this task really important to do and I found out myself how it is really important to be cyber smart and safe online. I hope you enjoy the task that I have created.

1. Use strong passwords that are hard for others to guess, using a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols like (like £, $, &, ! etc.). Keep passwords to yourself and change them regularly.
If you can access a device remotely, changing the default password can keep it safer and make it harder for other people to access.
2. When you choose a profile picture for a social networking website like Facebook or Twitter, avoid photos that could give people you don't know information about where you live.
3. Always think about what should be shared in public and what shouldn't be kept private.
4. Learn about how you can take care of your digital footprint and also keep your nappy clean.
5. If somebody you don't know adds you as a friend, ignore them and delete their request. Don't share personal information like your address or phone number with somebody you don't know.

ReplyDeleteYou’ve come up with an excellent list of rules to follow when sharing pictures or streaming videos online! It’s always a good idea to keep your passwords to yourself. You don’t want other people having access to your personal information!
You mentioned that we should all learn how to take care of our digital footprints and to keep our nappy’s clean. What ways would you suggest we do this?
Quick Tip- Perhaps you could make the bottom image in your post bigger so that it is easier for your viewers to read.
