Hi Everyone,
Today's task with the Summer Learning Journey Programme is "If you could change your name what would it be and why?" If I was to change my name it would probably be Maddison because it is a name that I have always wanted to have since I was younger and it represents lots of different meanings to it. Have you ever changed your name before or would like too?
I was a pupil at Marshland School and this blog is where I shared my learning. This blog has been archived, no further content will be uploaded or added. You are welcome to continue viewing posts, however commenting has been disabled.

Hi Bella,
ReplyDeleteMaddison is a beautiful name. Very pretty. Did you know it’s origins are from Northeastern England and it roughly translates to ‘son of Matthew’. It kind of makes sense because it has the word ‘son’ in it and in the old days, it would have been spelt ‘Mathieson’ so son of Matthew is a bit more logical.
Do you have any special reasons for liking the name? Would you go by Maddy as a nickname or something different?
Perhaps you could add some graphics to your post to enhance the reading experience. If you need help or inspiration to do this, look at these tips for making eye catching blog posts
Keep up the amazing work!
