Hello Bloggers, Todays Home Learning Task In Numeracy Is Measurements. This Term we are focusing on Measurements. Although Todays Task Is To Find The Standard Formula and work out the Area for a Triangle. So we measure Base X Height Divided by two, or if you have a half triangle you would Base X Height from the highest point divided by half (1/2) We also had to complete a Fun Pop Quiz about what we have learnt so far in Measurements just too see how we have progressed and what we have learnt. To calculate the volume of a triangular prism, measure the width and height of a triangular base, then multiply the base by the height by 1/2 to determine the triangle's area. Next, measure the height of the triangular prism and multiply this by the triangle's area to get the volume. Have you learnt the Area Of A Triangle Before?
