Friendship (Wizard Of Oz)
Hello Bloggers, Todays Home Learning Task In Literacy Theme Is Friendship. Friendship is a very important theme in the Wizard Of Oz. Dorothy claims new friends and they take on their journey to the Emerald City. We had to answer three questions and also explain to them (What do you think is the greatest act of friendship in the book? Why do you think Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and the Lion bond so quickly? How do Dorothy and the Lion comfort each other when they're captured by the Wicked Witch? The novel makes it clear how important friendship is. First, Dorothy's only friend on the bleak and windswept Kansas prairie is her faithful canine companion, Toto. He is the only one who can bring light and joy into her life. But the even more pronounced benefits of friendship come from Dorothy's interactions with the Scarecrow, Tin Woodman, and Lion. All three provide emotional and physical assistance to the young girl as she travels to the Emerald City to try and get back to Kansas. Have you read The Wizard Of Oz Novel Before?
