SPCA And Kidsline

Hello Bloggers, For Inquiry, we are learning about (Relationships And Connecting With Our Community) For Inquiry we had to create a presentation about all of the different (Lines) that can help you if your feeling worried e.g (Kidsline, Youthline) Today's task was to create a poster using Canva, which has really amazing templates, write a short description about the place and add their phone numbers. For my poster, I decided to write about the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) is dedicated to preventing cruelty towards animals. In addition to protecting and providing shelter to strays and animals in danger, the SPCA deals with proper pet care and animal adoption. And I also created a poster for Kidsline. What helpline would you ring if there was a certain situation?

Family Heritage

Hello Bloggers, For the past couple of weeks I have been focusing on working on finding the past on
my Family Heritage. In my Family Heritage, I found out a lot about things I hadn't even known before.
On my Family Heritage, I slide I had to include Facts about the country I was born in, my Pepeha
and Family Tree. I am originally from New Zealand and I found out that I'm part English/England.
Have you ever had a conversation with your family members about your Family's Past?

How To Have A Great Conversation

Hello Bloggers, This Term for Inquiry we are focusing on creating special relationships and seeing what things we have in common within our community. Last week we had an experiment where one person would stand up in the hall and say one of their favourite activities to do or things they love they would share and then another person would come up and link arms with that person. My friend and I (Jessica) decided to create an animation about "10 Ways To Have A Better Conversation" It was so enjoyable and fun to create. What Topic Are you doing for Inquiry this Term?

Davies Numeracy 2020 (Drawing A Bar Graph)

Hello Bloggers, I hope you all had an amazing Summer break! Today in Davies Numeracy we had to learn to draw a bar graph the correct way. Here is my first draft of my Colour Eye Frequency of Davies Maths group. There are some improvements I could have changed to my Bar Graph. Some of these improvements included having the bar spaced out evenly, adding the Y and X-axis, having spaces in between and having your bar graph ruled neatly and many more. What topic are you learning this Term for Numeracy?

Self Portraits That Represent Us!

Hello Bloggers, For the past week we have been making our own self-portraits and all of the things that represent us. On our self-portrait, we had to include our favourite activities or things to do outside or inside of school. Some of the things I enjoy doing and that concluded in my self-portrait was (Dancing, Gymnastics, Tumbling, Netball and Family and Friends) In my Self-Portrait I did get some inspiration from this very famous man named Romero Britto and I used very colourful and vibrant colours. What are some of your favourite activities to do during school or after school? Have you ever made a self-portrait of yourself before? I hope you like my self-portrait and comment positive, thoughtful and helpful comments to inspire me or maybe there is something I have to edit or change.
