BoyOverboard Word Art

Hi Everyone, this week we decided to make a Word Art using keywords from Boy Overboard. In this Word Art, I Used over 25 words. This create task was really fun and enjoyable to do. I hope you like my deign. 

Japanese Art

Hi Everyone, each week we rotate into different inquiry groups. These couple of weeks we have been learning about the history and culture of Japanese Art.

The art that I have recently found was called Mochi. Mochi is a type of dessert/food that can either be made out of a rice cake made of mochigome, a short-grain japonica glutinous rice, and sometimes other ingredients such as water, sugar, and cornstarch. 

The rice is pounded into paste and molded into the desired shape, and you can add strawberries with chocolate or Ice-Cream.

Hi Everyone, 

This Term in literacy we started reading this book called BoyOverboard. This book was so interesting and fun to read. For my create task this week, we were told that we had to create a Boy Overboard Cover/Poster and put a few things on the cover that was apart of the book. I really enjoyed this create task this week. The tools that I used to create a cover page was Canva, you can also use lots more other websites. I hope you enjoyed my cover of Boy Overboard.

Hi Everyone, today we got told that we are going to be doing arts for inquiry including their culture. Today we learnt about the Inuits, I learnt a lot about Incuits today especially considering I never knew what they were.  Here is the work that I did today.

Different Foods In Paris

Hi Everyone, This week on the Uru Manuka food learning journey. I decided to activity number seven which is to choose a country, which in fact I chose Paris/France, and write about the different types of mouth-watering foods and flavours that they have. This activity was really enjoyable to participate in and I learnt a whole heap of information about the different variety of foods they have in Paris.
